One of these

I hope to get one of these soon. I have so many great ideas for the sweet line for the upcoming year and this would be perfect to try out. Out of almost a dozen aunts most of them are expert seemstress. They can make everything from curtains to dresses all without patterns. My Mom use to make me homemade dresses that were so unique and creative. Since I've never really tried to use a sewing machine I'm hoping that some of those sewing genes were passed down.

Snowman

Bill's snowman from last years 1st big snow. The buttons were so nicely made of baby toys but it melted later that day. We're hoping for a bigger and longer snow this year.

This is one of my favorite shops. I could wear a different pair everyday. I have the bright yellow roses that I got awhile ago and love. I usually forget to take them out after I put on my pj's or while I'm cleaning so it looks pretty crazy wearing these with the wrong outfit.

Rainy Day

Although I love fall (my favorite season)it is so rainy and cool here today that I am really missing our beach house. Well it's my mother in-laws beach house but whenever we want to go we can which is nice. We were lucky enough this past July to spend a week in their amazing condo. It is seriously the most luxurious condo ever but seven hours away. I can still dream of the pool, oceanside views and all the fun we had until we go visit again, hopefully really soon.

Gift Wrap

I've decided to use this wrapping paper for the holidays. I really like polka dots and this would be so festive with a big red bow on top.

Coat

Almost every year I buy a new coat and this year I decided on the tulip coat from J.Crew. I am usually very thrifty except when it comes to winter coats and nice beds. Anyway I bought a puffer jacket from there last year and it is the warmest jacket ever. I thought the coat needed a little accessory to go along with it so I picked up this bright yellow bug pin to give it a splash of color.

Nursery

I adore this room from Cakies. It so organic and natural looking. The chalkboard and nook is my favorite. I like the the way it is so simple and uncluttered. You can check out more photos on her blog which is my new favorite. Happy Friday!
